Privacy Policy
Effective date: October 6, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains what information is processed when you visit BudgetStyleHub (budgetstylehub.com), why, who receives it, and the choices and rights you have. The short version: we don’t ask you for personal information, and the data that is collected comes from analytics, advertising cookies and server logs.
Who is responsible
BudgetStyleHub is published by Martech Digital Media LTDA, a company based in Brazil (“we”, “us”). For any privacy question or request, email [email protected]. That address also reaches the person responsible for the protection of personal information for the purposes of Quebec law.
What we do not collect
The site has no user accounts, no sign-up, no newsletter, no comments and no forms. We don’t ask for your name, email address, phone number or payment details.
Some pages show a short two-question quiz. Your answers are not stored by us and are not linked to your identity; they are sent only to our analytics as anonymous events so we can see which topics readers are interested in.
Information collected automatically
When you visit, some information is collected automatically by us and by the services we use:
| Source | What it collects | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Hosting and security (Cloudflare) | IP address, browser and device type, page requested, date and time, referring page | Delivering the site, keeping it secure, blocking abuse and fixing errors |
| Analytics (Google Analytics 4, loaded through Google Tag Manager) | Pages viewed, time on page, device and browser type, approximate location (such as city or region), how you arrived (for example the link or ad you clicked), interactions such as anonymous quiz answers, cookie identifiers | Understanding which content is useful and improving the site |
| Advertising (Google Ad Manager and Google AdX) | Cookie and device identifiers, IP address, browser information, pages viewed, ad interactions | Showing ads, measuring them, limiting repetition, preventing fraud and, where allowed, showing ads based on your interests |
Ads may be personalized (based on your interests and browsing across sites) or non-personalized (based on context, such as the page you are reading, and approximate location). Which one you see depends on your choices in the consent message, your Google ad settings and the law where you live.
How we use information
We use this information to run and secure the site, understand what readers find useful, measure and show ads that pay for the site, prevent fraud and invalid traffic, and comply with the law. We don’t use it to identify you personally, and we don’t build profiles of individual readers ourselves.
Google’s use of data
Google acts as our analytics and advertising provider and may use cookies and similar identifiers to collect data from this site. To learn how Google uses information from sites that use its services, see How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services.
Your choices and how to opt out
- Privacy choices: use the “Privacy choices” link in the footer of every page to reopen our consent message (powered by Google’s consent management tools) and change your choices at any time.
- Google ad settings: manage or turn off personalized Google ads at adssettings.google.com.
- Industry opt-outs: opt out of interest-based ads from participating companies at optout.aboutads.info (US) and youradchoices.ca (Canada).
- Google Analytics: install the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.
- Browser settings: block or delete cookies in your browser. See our Cookie Policy for details.
Opting out of personalized ads doesn’t remove ads; you will still see ads that are not based on your interests.
Who receives information
We share information only with the service providers that make the site work: Google (analytics, tag management, advertising and consent tools) and Cloudflare (hosting and security). Ad technology partners working through Google’s platforms may also receive data to bid on and show ads. We may disclose information if required by law or to protect the site and its readers. We do not sell personal information for money.
US state privacy rights
Residents of California and of other US states with comprehensive privacy laws (including Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, Texas and Oregon, among others) have rights over their personal information.
Categories collected in the last 12 months: identifiers (IP address, cookie and device identifiers), internet activity (pages viewed and interactions), approximate geolocation, and inferences that ad partners such as Google may draw about interests. Sources and purposes are described above. We don’t collect sensitive personal information.
“Sale” and “sharing”: we don’t sell data for money. However, allowing advertising cookies for personalized ads may be considered a “sale” or “sharing” for cross-context behavioral advertising, or “targeted advertising”, under laws such as the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended by the CPRA.
Your rights may include the right to:
- Know and access the personal information processed about you.
- Delete it.
- Correct it.
- Opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information and of targeted advertising (“Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information”).
- Not be discriminated against for using these rights.
To opt out of sale or sharing, use the “Privacy choices” link in the footer, Google’s ad settings or the industry opt-outs listed above, or email us with the subject “Do Not Sell or Share”. For other requests, email [email protected]. You may use an authorized agent. Because we have no accounts, we usually can’t link browsing data to a named person; we will tell you what we can find and verify requests only as far as needed. If we decline a request, you can appeal by replying to our answer, and if you remain unsatisfied you can contact your state attorney general.
Canada (PIPEDA and Quebec Law 25)
If you are in Canada, we handle personal information in line with the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and, for Quebec residents, the Act respecting the protection of personal information in the private sector as amended by Law 25.
- Consent: you can give, refuse or withdraw consent to advertising and analytics cookies at any time through the “Privacy choices” link, youradchoices.ca and your browser settings.
- Access and correction: you can ask what personal information we hold about you and have it corrected. Quebec residents may also ask for deletion and for information about how data is processed.
- Transfers outside Canada: our providers process data in the United States, Brazil and other countries, where it is subject to local law and may be accessible to local authorities.
- Complaints: contact us first. You can also complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada or, in Quebec, the Commission d’accès à l’information du Québec.
Brazil (LGPD)
As a Brazilian company we also follow Brazil’s General Data Protection Law (Lei Geral de Proteção de Dados, LGPD). We rely on your consent for advertising and analytics cookies where it is required, and on our legitimate interest to secure the site and prevent fraud. You can exercise LGPD rights by emailing us.
Children’s privacy
BudgetStyleHub is for a general audience. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13, in line with the US Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA), and we don’t ask any reader for personal information.
Retention and security
We keep information only as long as needed for the purposes above. Server logs are kept for a limited time for security and troubleshooting; analytics and advertising data is retained under the settings and policies of Google. The site is served over HTTPS and protected by Cloudflare. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect the information processed.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when our tools or the law change. The effective date at the top shows the latest version. Significant changes will be reflected on this page before they take effect where the law requires.
